Community

Community is at the heart of everything we do.

Our students, families, staff, and local partners work together to create a vibrant and supportive environment that extends well beyond the classroom. Take a look at the ways we contribute to and benefit from the connected community we cherish.

Our community contributions.

Our school choir proudly shares their talents at community events, bringing joy and a sense of togetherness to local festivals, celebrations, and gatherings. In addition, our students contribute artwork to the wider community, adding colour and creativity to local spaces and events.

These opportunities allow students to develop confidence, creativity, and a sense of pride while strengthening the bond between the school and our neighbourhood. These experiences create lasting memories for both students and community members and reflect the spirit of connection that is at the heart of Boulder Primary School.

P&C

The P&C provides a friendly, welcoming space for parents to connect with the school community and take an active role in supporting Boulder Primary School.

It plays an important role in strengthening the partnership between families and the school, helping build a positive and connected community around our students. Through fundraising and community support, the P&C also contributes to a range of initiatives that enrich the school experience, including classroom incentives, student activities, and additional resources and technology.

If you’d like to get involved or learn more about the P&C, they would love to hear from you.

Alumni

Staying connected with our past students is an important part of who we are, and Boulder Primary School is proud to have a strong and active Alumni Community.

Generations of students have walked our halls and played in our school grounds, creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Each graduate shares a special bond a common history, a sense of belonging, and pride in being part of our school community.

We proudly display school memorabilia that celebrates our rich history and the many students who have been part of our journey. Former students are always welcome to visit and reconnect with the school by calling in through the Front Office. We love seeing our alumni return and remain part of the Boulder Primary School family.

Cultural Garden

Through meaningful connections in the community, our former bike rack site has been transformed into a beautiful Cultural Garden. The Cultural Garden is a welcoming space where community members, students and staff can come together. It provides a place for classes to gather, learn and enjoy the outdoors, as well as an area where students can experience and share traditional methods of cooking.

We’re incredibly grateful to the community members who helped create this special place, which continues to bring people together and celebrate culture and connection. If you’re in the area, we warmly invite you to stop by and take a look.

Sustainable Garden

At the heart of our school sits our Sustainable Garden—a vibrant space where students help grow fruits and vegetables. This garden provides valuable hands-on learning opportunities, helping students understand where food comes from and the importance of caring for the environment. The produce grown by our students can be enjoyed by them or used by our school canteen, making the garden a wonderful way to support healthy eating while helping make our school greener for the future.
